As is the case with most computer artists, my artistic roots were in traditional sketching and pen & ink work. Starting from my second grade obsession with drawing E.T. on my school folders, my love for art led me to the local art magnet high school where I spent a two hour block of time in art class each day learning all aspects of art. I spent a lot of my free time making a copious amount of unfinished comics based on Eastman & Laird's Ninja Turtles and super heroes including the X-Men and also designed my fair share of anime characters.
