I began using HTML before there was any online documentation. I learned to use html and javascripts by reverse-engineering html source in notepad. I have since broadened my knowledge to include many other aspects of HTML, CSS and a minimal working knowledge of Flash and javascripting. Because I enjoy the challenge and extent of control, I still use a text based approach exclusively for creating webpages which has lead to my being called upon to troubleshoot and find solutions to problems created by web design programs. I was commissioned to create a new website for Edge of Reality and I worked with managment to refine the unique artistic quality of my concept. From there, I converted the final Photoshop concept to a functional webpage. They were as pleased as I was with the result and were often complimented on the site. I also managed and regularly updated the site. I also created a website for a local coffee house. The company went out of business before the site went live so there is still placeholder content.
