My work in characters has been bookended with high resolution models. Initially using nurbs models to create absurdly low resolution sprites for Batman, then for texture sources, using a cylindrical mapping transfer process I created, for a scrapped project called Immortal Hockey.
More recently I have been doing R&D for next-gen art production, using Zbrush, Mudbox and Silo3D to create high polygon models, as well as researching methods to create normal and ambient occlusion maps from these models.
